Español de Cine

Español de Cine (@espanoldecine) is a platform designed to learn Spanish grammar, expressions and curiosities through clips from series, songs and movies.

I'm Leire Navarro Gil, a graduate in Translation and Interpreting, specialized in teaching Spanish. I'm also passionate about movies, TV series and stories in general. Over the past few years I have worked at different universities and at the Instituto Cervantes, teaching Spanish to students from different countries and cultures. After many hours of class, I discovered that some people learn better through stories than by memorizing rules. That's how Español de Cine was born. Here we use movies, series and audiovisual clips to learn vocabulary, improve comprehension, perfect grammar and discover Spanish culture in a natural and entertaining way. When I'm not teaching, I'm probably watching a movie, planning a trip or creating new activities for my students.
